Meet Sherlock 🐾
Sherlock is one of those dogs who steals your heart the moment you meet her. She's a seven-month-old black Shepherd mix bursting with energy and personality. With regular walks and playtime, Sherlock will make a loyal and loving companion.
As a volunteer at the shelter, I’ve had the joy of spending time with Sherlock during my dog walking shifts and enrichment activities. We do everything from reading to the rescues to celebrating holidays with themed parties—Easter, Halloween, Christmas—you name it! Sherlock especially enjoys outings like dock diving to burn off energy and trips to the farmers market, where she charms everyone she meets.

Berea Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) is a no-time-limit animal rescue providing shelter, love and care for stray and homeless animals for as long as it takes to place them into forever homes. While in our care, ARF provides our animals with basic veterinary examinations, age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter procedures and tests them for disease and ensures they are microchipped.
