Our Mission at Berea Animal Rescue is to provide a safe and comforting environment for animals. We often don't know what they have been through before coming to us, but we do know it hasn't been the best life they deserve. We provide them with medical care, food and plenty of affection. We also adopted both of our Beagles from ARF. Bailey was born in care with us and the moment I saw her, I knew she was MY dog! Little Lou is our foster fail! I suppose it was bound to happen at some point! One out of 60ish isn't bad!!

I got my Angel from Berea about a year ago. (Her gotcha date is coming up). She’s such a sweet beautiful dog and I couldn’t be happier!

    Team Happy Hounds! Go Dogs!!

About Happy Hounds

As the Dog Foster Coordinator for ARF, I place many dogs in foster homes. I like to put puppies in foster homes so that they can socialize with other dogs and litter mates. I will also find a foster home for dogs who come in very scared and shutdown. I'm always looking for people who are willing to open up their home and their hearts to a dog in need. Fostering is so important for so many reasons! Just an example; It gives the dog a chance to relax, and humans get to know the dog. This helps the dog become more adoptable when we can tell potential adopters' good details about the dog!
