About Charlene, Leo & Teddy

On June 1st - after taking the time to heal from having to say goodbye to our Lily in February - we welcomed home Leo & Teddy to start their next chapter in life. Abandoned by their owner to a relative that was not able to take care of them long-term, these 7 year old, bonded brothers ended up at ARF. Adopting out a bonded pair is a challenge in and of itself - let alone an older "senior" pair. We knew we wanted 2 this time around and after meeting these 2 boys during one of my shifts back in May - we came back to the shelter to spend some quality time with them one on one. Seeing how scared they were in their cage (see the above picture - as they tried their best to be unnoticed) - but still wanting so much to be loved, they slowly opened up and showed us that yes - it was time to go home!  It's been 2 months and we are so grateful for the care they received at ARF and for keeping these 2 boys together while they waited for us to find them.
