I’m passionate about saving lives, and making a difference for the dogs in our rescue. I’m a firm believer that fostering saves lives!! I love what I do and believe every dog deserves a chance to feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I will continue to advocate for our dogs, be their voice, and do everything I can to help them find the life they deserve.

I adopted my pup Angel through ARF and she is such a beautiful animal. Kristen's dedication to this cause is unmatched and she fostered Angel and took care of her until I found her. ARF provided all of Angel's shots and she was spayed and chipped prior to my adoption. I couldn't thank Kristen enough for all of her work as well as ARF in rescuing and fostering these animals.

About Happy Tails

Our most recent Foster is Tilly- we call her “Puppy” or “the baby”. I brought her home from the rescue when she was two weeks old, she was failing to thrive on her own. Action needed to be taken immediately or she wouldn’t have made it through the night. I bottle fed her around the clock, I set alarms and took her wherever I went so she didn’t miss any meals. She was so weak she barely could walk. Thankfully she was gaining strength, then we noticed her legs looked a bit different 😳.
She immediately got in to see the vet. She was diagnosed with swimmers syndrome.
I had to do physical therapy stretches with her legs, plus keep her hind legs taped together 24/7!  Needless to say I perfected making tiny puppy shackles that she had to wear for about 4 weeks!
Now this little puppy is 12 weeks old, strong, sassy and  nearly ready to be adopted!!
