Hi Friends!  Please help me support Berea Animal Rescue Friends (ARF), a wonderful, no-time-limit shelter at which I am blessed to volunteer.

My sweet Fern was a long-term resident of ARF.  She transferred in from another shelter with remnants of a flea infestation and a spicy attitude.  Whatever she had experienced in her past had left this intelligent, sensitive little girl distrustful and aggressive.  The wonderful volunteers at ARF patiently worked to rebuild her trust and give her a chance to blossom into the beautiful, confident kitty that makes me smile every day!

    There was a time when Fern was a beautiful cat who had some behaviors that made her difficult to adopt. But Patti brought her in to her family and worked with her to create a safe and happy space for Fern. Patti influenced me to adopt two wonderful cats who have provided us with enrichment and many laughs.
